About Me

A life long writer and communicator, I’m also passionate about people and community. I began my career in England working as a policy adviser seeking to shape legislation in the UK Parliament. Next, a career break to raise my family still allowed me time to pursue my passions as I volunteered locally. From newsletter editor, to PTA volunteer, Girl Scout leader to Children’s Theater Board VP, and now as Co President of our local high school Theater Arts Association and VP of our Music Boosters, I have always worked hard to contribute to my community and to make a difference.

An entrepreneur, I launched my own business 5 years ago after a successful Kickstarter campaign, a print magazine that aimed to empower and inspire girls. It was a steep learning curve as I learned my craft—not only content creation, interviews and copy, but graphic design and layout, brand awareness, marketing, merchandising, social media, website site creation, video and audio editing, and so much more.

Over time, it became apparent to me that in addition to my creative and communication skills,  my biggest assets are actually the energy and ideas I bring to the table when trying to solve problems, coupled with a dogged determination to make things happen!

Starting a business, and being in business, can be lonely. Sometimes you have the BEST ideas but you really need to test the water and talk them through with somebody. Other times you have the best ideas but you simply don’t have the bandwidth to put them into action. I am excited to share my skills with you and help you to make your project a huge success.
